Our Heritage Ball - The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

The central stained glass window above the reredos in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was installed in 1899 after the great fire of 1898. It depicts Saint John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the River Jordan. It measures nine feet by twenty-four feet. At the time of installation, this window was valued at $650. Today the replacement cost would be approximately $173,000.

2005 Heritage Ball

The fifth annual Cathedral Heritage Ball was held on Saturday, November 19, on the main floor of the Hilton Savannah DeSoto Hotel in Savannah.

Fellowship was had by all and we are happy to present a few images of the event.
